gitHawk (“we”, “us”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions about privacy can go to hello@githawk.dev.
01What we collect
- Enquiry details: the name, email, company, project type, budget range and message you submit through the contact form, or send us by email.
- Project information you share while we work together, such as briefs, access details and files.
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser, device and pages visited) recorded in our server logs.
- Marketplace details: if you hire us on Upwork or Fiverr, those platforms handle contracts and payments and apply their own privacy policies.
02How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a plan and quote.
- To deliver your project, including post-launch support and maintenance plans.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
03Client systems and data during support and maintenance
When we build, support or maintain your product we work inside your accounts and may see the data in them. We access only what is needed for the task, with the minimum permissions, and act on your instructions as your processor. You can revoke our access at any time, and we will sign a data-processing agreement on request.
05How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a project are kept for up to 24 months. Contract, invoice and project records are kept for as long as the law requires. Access credentials you give us are removed when the engagement or plan ends.
06Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and least-privilege access to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@githawk.dev and we will reply within 30 days.
09International transfers
We work with clients worldwide, so data may be processed outside your country. Where we do that, we use appropriate safeguards.
10Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
11Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of the page.
